An all too frequent scenario for returning missionaries:
The plane finally lands after many delays. The missionary couple and their four children huddle together in the airport waiting for their ride to arrive. After four years on the mission field it would be good to see the folks again. First, they need a hot shower, a good night's sleep, and a meal.
The family excitedly looks forward to reunions with family and friends. When they arrive at their host's home, they are overwhelmed with the number of people waiting to greet them. The tired children are confused and frightened by all these strangers and the unfamiliar surroundings. Dad and Mom find themselves praying for a quiet, private place where they could gather their family, recover from their long trip, and begin planning their busy itinerary.
